PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Welcome to Meerut Public School – The First Step, where every child's educational journey begins with curiosity, confidence, and the joy of learning.

The early years play a defining role in shaping a child's personality, values, and attitude towards learning. At MPS – The First Step, we are committed to creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where children feel secure, respected, and encouraged to explore the world around them. We believe that every child learns differently, and our role is to nurture each learner with patience, care, and thoughtful guidance.

Guided by the vision of NEP 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for the Foundational Stage (NCF-FS 2022), our pedagogy places the child at the centre of the learning process. Through play-based, experiential, and inquiry-driven learning, we encourage children to observe, question, explore, create, and express themselves with confidence. Our classrooms foster foundational literacy and numeracy alongside communication, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, ensuring that learning remains joyful, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate.

Along with building strong academic foundations, we place equal emphasis on emotional well-being, independence, values, and social responsibility. We also value the partnership between school and parents, recognising that a child's growth is best supported when home and school work together with trust and a shared purpose.

As a proud member of Meerut Public School Group, a name associated with excellence in education since 1982, we continue to uphold a legacy of academic excellence, strong values, and holistic education. While embracing progressive teaching practices, we remain deeply rooted in the rich cultural ethos that has always been the hallmark of MPS.

The years spent at MPS – The First Step are the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning. It is our endeavour to ensure that every child leaves our school with happy memories, strong values, self-belief, and an eagerness to embrace new opportunities as they continue their journey 'To Greater Heights.'
